AFSA Classic and ISC Qualifier - Aurora, IL

The Aurora Fastpitch Softball Association is again hosting the AFSA Classic Men’s Major Fastball Tournament in Aurora, IL the weekend of July 13-15, 2007. We are looking for ISC and ISC II level teams to compete at this event with a 10 team maximum.

This year, the AFSA Classic is being used as an ISC Qualifying event for 2007 berths to the ISC World Tournament in Kitchener Ontario in August. The winner of the tournament will be awarded a 2007 World Tournament berth (this is an open qualifier NOT limited to teams from US Central Region). It is important to note that simply participating in an ISC qualifier makes a team eligible for a possible invite berth to the ISC World Tournament or ISC II Tournament of Champions, EVEN IF THE TEAM DOESN’T WIN THE TOURNAMENT.

The entry fee is $350 to cover tournament costs; including travel expenses for umpires. Lastly, only teams that play with their ISC roster are eligible to win a berth. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. We look forward to having another great tournament this year.
