ISC World Tournament Leading Hitter Correction
Sunday, September 11, 2011
Due to a misunderstanding of criteria for the ISC Leading Hitter award, the award was erroneously given to the wrong player in Quad Cities. We have now corrected this mistake by properly awarding the Leading Hitter award to Chicago/New York's Rhys Casley. Rhys had 10 official at bats with 6 hits for a .600 batting average. Our criteria requires 12 at bats or 15 plate appearances. In Rhys' case, he walked 9-times and had one HBP for a total of 20 plate appearances.
The ISC regrets and apologizes this error but all affected parties were informed of the situation before this announcement was made.
