Fastpitch fans nearly filled Phil Welch stadium in St. Joseph, Missouri for the 2000 ISC World Tournament with the roof that extends over most of the seating providing welcome shade. Instead of plastic and medal, the stadium’s wood and brick construction gives the stadium a homey feeling of playing in a bygone era.
