Marty Grant of New Zealand returned to the U.S. this past season and pitched the Decatur Pride to a third place finish in the World Tournament with a 3-1 record. Grant picked up a 2-1 win over H.I.S. Const. Of Houston; whipped the Heflin Smokers 7-0, and the Hallman Twins 7-2 before taking a 5-2 loss to the Broken Bow Travelers. In 21 innings, Grant finished with a 2.05 ERA and 32 strikeouts.
