Big Rick Lang of the Sioux Falls Chiefs proved American pitchers can get the job done. With his 3-2 record, 2.05 ERA and 28 strike outs in 22 innings, Lang finished the '99 ISC World Tournament ranked seventh amongst the top 50 pitchers. The Chiefs finished 22nd in the tourney.
