The International Softball Congress has announced the following eligibility requirements for players who will be competing in the ISC II tournament to be held in
Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, August 13 to August 17, 2002.
1. All players competing in the ISC II tournament must be classified NO HIGHER than ASA "B" or NAFA "AA".
2. Players who played on teams competing in ANY OF THE FOLLOWING TOURNAMENTS are NOT ELIGIBLE for the ISC II tournament:
200l I.S.C. World Tournament
2001 A.S.A. Major National Tournament
200l A.S.A. "A" National Tournament
2001 Canadian Senior National Tournament
2001 NAFA "AAA" World Series
3. TEAMS WHICH FINISHED IN THE TOP SEVEN in the 2001 NAFA "AA" World Series are NOT ELIGIBLE for the ISC II tournament.
4. Players who have been selected to the ISC All-World Tournament team at ANY
TIME IN THE PAST are NOT ELIGIBLE for the ISC II tournament unless they are 45 or older.
5. Teams which qualify for the ISC II tournament may "pick up" as many as three
players who have competed in their local ISC II area qualifier.
6. All team rosters will be subject to the approval of the ISC II Tournament
Director.
7. Any eligibility issues which are not covered by the requirements presented above
will be decided by the Tournament Eligibility Committee.
