International Softball Congress Developmental Vice-President Wayne Fisher is reminding teams planning to enter the tournaments sponsored by the I.S.C. for boys' and junior men's fastballers to note that deadlines will soon be approaching for entry into these international events.
"The grass is beginning to get green; the days are getting longer; and the sound of softballs cracking off the bats is in the air," quips the affable Fisher, who heads the I.S.C.'s ongoing activities which encourage and support young male fastball teams, "Now is the time to make plans to enter your boys' and junior men's fastball teams in the ISC Developmental Program North American Championship Tournaments."
Fisher notes that ENTRY FORMS ARE AVAILABLE ON-LINE FOR ALL OF THE I.S.C. DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM TOURNAMENTS. Forms for the 12U, 14U, 16U, U19, and 23U tournaments are available as pdf files on the Rules and Forms page of the ISC Website (http://www.iscfastpitch.com/webstartme/rules.htm)
The tournaments will be held mid-June through the end of July, and the entry deadlines are as soon as May 30.
"Interest is these tournaments is strong, and I would encourage teams to enter just as quickly as possible," said Fisher who adds that "Those who would like to receive the entry forms as e-mail attachments or sent via traditional mail delivery may contact me directly."
