In the 8-inning contest, San Pedro were the victors, 3-2 as Virgil Jones(p) bested Clayton Dugger. In the lower bracket, Wheeler Tires from SLC allowed just 2 runs in their three victories while only scoring six against their opponents. In the winners bracket final, San Pedro's Jones outpitched Doug Borg for the 2-0 shutout.
Calvert having been knocked into the loser's bracket by San Pedro won five games, outscoring their opponents 18-5, including a 9-0 shellacking of their first round opponent, General Depot of Ogden (UT) whom they had defeated by only a 2-0 margin.
