Teams
Teams that competed in the previous year's ISC World Tournaments or the previous year's Canadian Senior Men’s Championship and are returning at least 70% of their roster cannot play in the ISC II Tournament of Champions unless an appeal is granted.

Certain teams that participated in the previous year's ASA “Major”, ASA “A” and NAFA “AAA” tournaments cannot play in the ISC II Tournament of Champions unless an appeal is granted.

Appeals will be considered through the process outlined below until July 30 of the current year.

Position Players
Any player who participated in the most recent Pan-Am games or the preceding two ISF World Championships is not eligible for ISC II play.

Pitchers
Any pitcher who pitched in the most recent Pan-Am games or the preceding two ISF World Championships or whose name appears on the ISC II Ineligible Pitchers list published in the ISC II section of the ISC web site is not eligible for ISC II play.

Appeals will be considered through the process outlined below until July 30 of the current year.

Rosters
All ISC II team rosters must be approved by the ISC prior to participation in any ISC II Travel League, Area Qualifying Tournament or Championship Tournament.

ISC II teams may have up to three (3) out-of-area players, one (1) of whom may be from “offshore” (from outside Canada, the U.S. or Mexico). There is a limit of two (2) out-of-area pitchers per team. All out-of-area players must be registered with the ISC, and the appropriate fee must be paid by May 1 of the current year.
NOTE: It is mandatory that any offshore pitcher or player names be submitted for approval even if they don't appear on the ineligible list.

Additional details on out-of-area player registration and fees can be found on the ISC web site under the Rules section.

No player or pitcher will be allowed to compete in both the ISC World Tournament and ISC II Tournament of Champions, or in separate qualifiers for the ISC World Tournament and ISC II Tournament of Champions in the same season.

A player or pitcher who competes in a dedicated ISC World Tournament qualifier and either does not qualify for or does not attend the ISC World Tournament is not eligible to play in the ISC II Tournament of Champions.

Pitchers or players who play on a team which qualifies for the ISC World Tournament through a combined qualifier but do not attend the ISC World Tournament are not eligible to play in the ISC II Tournament of Champions.

No player or pitcher may attempt to qualify for the ISC II Tournament of Champions from more than one area or for more than one team in any one season.

Once teams have qualified for the ISC II Tournament of Champions, they are allowed three (3) pick-ups from ISC II-eligible players from within their area. Pick-ups must meet all ISC II eligibility guidelines and must be noted on the final roster submitted at the Tournament of Champions registration.

Returning teams must have 70% of their roster to qualify for the automatic berth for the following year.

Appeals
All appeals must be submitted no later than July 30 of the current year in writing or by email to:

  1. Local Area or Travel League Commissioner (see Contacting Us on ISC web site for details)

  2. Region Vice President (see Contacting Us on ISC web site for details)

  3. ISC II Vice President Bob McGowan jbob99@allstream.net and ISC II Commissioner Blair Setford blairjs@rogers.com

Any eligibility questions not covered above should be directed to your team’s Area or Travel League Commissioner, with a copy to the Region VP and a copy to Bob McGowan and Blair Setford. The ISC strongly suggests resolving eligibility questions early so there are no surprises or disappointments prior to league, tournament or championship play.
