ISC Canada West Area Commissioner Ferdi Nelissen is announcing that the 2005 ISC World
Tournament Area Qualifier will be held in Saskatoon with the Aspen Black Sox (2004 Canadian Men’s
National Champions) acting as the host team.
The dates for the tournament will be the weekend of June 11 - 12, 2005.
Tournament location: Gordie Howe and Bob Van Impe diamonds in Saskatoon. This was the first-ever site for an ISC World Tournament to be held in Canada.
The entry fee will be $400 CDN
Nelissen feels that Saskatoon will make an excellent Area Tournament location.
Long known as a fastball hotbed with past powerhouses such as the Rempel Brothers and the All-o-Matic
A’s, Saskatoon has supported numerous fastball events such as Canadian Championships, ISF World
Championships, and the ISC World Tournament.
Tournament organizers expect to attract 12 teams to the event and prize money will be based on the
number of teams entered.
