International Softball Congress Executive Director Ken Hackmeister and ISC II Commissioner Blair Setford are announcing that the Pre-season team rankings for both ISC World and ISC II teams will be compiled and released around May 1, 2005.
In order that members of the ranking committees may have adequate input for doing their job, Hackmeister and Setford are requesting that teams in both divisions of ISC play provide information which can be used in the pre-season assessment.
In doing the initial rankings, committee members will utilize only information from Al’s Fastball List and Al’s escribe.com
archives. They will not be expected to seek out the website of individual teams.
Thus it is important for ALL teams to have at least one pre-season release distributed before April 15 through Al Doran

These releases should cover such items as the team roster, schedule, as well as any team goals for the 2005 season.
It is also important for teams and tournament directors to send all results to Al Doran for distribution and posting as the 2005 fastball season is played.
Both the ISC World and the ISC II Ranking Committees are comprised of qualified, geographically-diverse individuals whose identities are anonymous.
The final 2005 team rankings will be used to seed teams for both the ISC World Tournament and the 2005 ISC II Tournament of Champions.
