Rich Well, ISC Area Commissioner, has announced the dates, site, and other details for the South Central Illinois ISC Qualifier for the 2006 fastball season.
The competition will be held in Vandalia, Illinois, over the weekend of June 2, 3, and 4.
The tournament will determine an area representative for the ISC World Tournament (which will be held in Kitchener, ONT, August 11 – 19) and a second representative for the ISC – II Tournament of Champions (in Kitchener, ONT, August 13 – 18).
The planned format is round robin with semi-finals and finals pitting the top two teams from each pool into a single elimination tourney. This format may change depending on the number of teams competing for the ISC World Tournament spot and the number competing for the spot in the ISC – II Tournament of Champions.
Teams will need to declare as they enter the event whether they are competing for the ISC or the ISC – II berth.
Deadline for entry is March 31.
Entry fee is $200. Checks should be payable to RichWell/The Freight Softball.
