A "Welcome" mat is out for any and all strong, young right arms - - - and for any strong, young lefties as well.
The table will be set with a lineup of patient and talented pitchers eager and willing to share their know-how and experience with young men willing to learn the marvelous art of hurling a softball underhand - - - and learning to make it drop, and maybe rise and curve.
Iowa Area Commissioner Pat Sullivan is announcing a genuine pitching clinic set for Wescott Park in Walcott, Iowa, on Saturday June 28.
It will begin at 11:00 A.M. It is free - - - and there will be some talented hurlers on hand to instruct and encourage all the young men who attend.
Assisting Sullivan will be I.S.C. Developmental Vice President Wayne Fisher along with Joe Needham, sponsor and manager of the 23-under team from Walcott, and active pitchers from the Iowa Area Tournament.
So come on down to Walcott on the 28th, and get ready to begin the thrilling trip to the mound of an exciting fastball game - - - and the skys the limit!.
