Community Park in beautiful Davis Junction, Illinois, is the place to be over the weekend of May 22 - May 23 if you are a men's fastball team from the Northern Illinois Area of the International Softball Congress. Or if you just enjoy watching good competition in the exciting sport of fast pitch softball!
International Softball Congress Commissioner John Reed is announcing the 2004 qualifying tournament which will determine the teams from his Northern Illinois Area which will advance to the
I.S.C. World Tournament (August 13 - 21) and to the
I.S.C. - II Championship (August 15 - 20) with both of these international events being played in Fargo-Moorhead.
The format for the May 22-23 Davis Junction tournament will be Round Robin with a championship playoff. Each team in the tournament will have a three-game guarantee.
Entry fee is $185 and is due not later than May 3, 2004.
With automatic berths in both ISC World Tournament and ISC - II Championships at stake, the action is sure to be fast and furious.
