Bill Howell, ISC Commissioner for the Mid-Atlantic Area, is announcing the annual qualifier for teams from his area which would like to compete for berths in two prestigious international tournaments.
The Area Qualifier for the ISC World Tournament as well as the ISC II
Championship Tournament will be held at the Willow Street Fields in
Lancaster, PA. on Saturday June 26, 2004.
The ISC World Tournament is for men's major fastball teams and the ISC II Championship tournament is for ASA Class "B" or NAFA "AA" caliber teams. The deadline for entry will be June 13, 2004. The entry fee will be determined by the number of teams that are entered with the intent to cover the cost of playing the games.
One team in each of these classifications will represent the Mid-Atlantic
Area in August in Fargo, N. Dakota. The ISC World Tournament will run from
August 13-21 and the ISC II championship will run from August 15-20. Both
of these championship tournaments consist of 40 teams, which are broken
into brackets with five teams in each bracket. Every team that makes it to
ISC Championship play is guaranteed to play at least four games. For
