| When the International Softball Congress
presents its World Tournament in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, August 9
-17, a companion event will be held at the same time. While the ISC will
be held at Peter Hallman Ballyard, the ISC II will start off at nearby Bud
Park and finish up at the Peter Hallman Ballyard.
The I.S.C. II tournament will have its inaugural run in Kitchener-Waterloo beginning Tuesday, August 13 and concluding Saturday, August 17. Nineteen teams plus the host team (Kitchener Pride) will compete in the event which will include three days of round-robin play in pools of five teams each followed by a single-elimination playoff to determine the championship. All competing teams will play a minimum of four games with the top two teams from each pool advancing to the playoffs. International Softball Congress Area Tournaments will be the forum from which the 19 teams will advance to the showdown in Kitchener-Waterloo. ISC Area Tournaments which will qualify teams for this event. |
