I.S.C. II QUALIFYING TOURNAMENT SITES AND DATES FOR TEAMS 
IN ONTARIO AND QUEBEC ANNOUNCED

 

(Second in a series of tournaments which will qualify teams for the I.S.C. II tournament to be held in Kitchener-Waterloo August 13 17)


Attention men's fastpitch teams from Ontario and Quebec!

The countdown of days is on - - - - and it has dwindled to just 178. That's right, in just 178 days the first-ever ISC II tournament will begin in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario.

And just how can YOU get your men's fastball team into this magnificent event? 

In this series of releases, the ISC is focusing on the tournaments across North America which will qualify teams to compete in this new international event which will be run during the last five days of the International Softball Congress World Tournament in August

The ISC today announced the Ontario Qualifiers for the 2002 ISC II Tournament. The location and dates for teams from Ontario and Quebec which would like to compete in this event are as follows:

· In western Ontario, Innerkip will host a qualifying tournament over the weekend of June 21 23. 
· In eastern Ontario, Coburg will host a qualifying tournament over the weekend of July 5 7.

The classification of teams and players eligible to participate will be intermediate (NAFA-AA).

Format for both tournaments will be double elimination.

The winners of each will get a berth in the inaugural ISC II tournament August 13 17 at Budd Park, Kitchener, Ontario.,

Entry fee for these qualifying tournaments is $250. Since both events are expected to fill quickly, interested teams should send entry fees as soon as possible. Checks should be made payable to ISC II Ontario and sent to:
