A new, simpler, and more relevant address will now take interested persons to the web site of the International Softball Congress.

ISC Executive Director Ken Hackmeister announced today that effective immediately the new address for the organization will be: www.iscfastpitch.com 

"There are so many great reasons for making this change," according to Hackmeister. "This will give the ISC an address which is oriented to the organization rather than to the sport of fastpitch softball. We expect it to be easier for people to remember. In addition our web site director, Al Doran, has changed internet providers and he expects that this will give the ISC better service."

In announcing the change, both Hackmeister and Doran indicated that the old address will link to the new one for at least a year, giving the ISC time to update the change on business cards, letterheads, and brochures.

In anticipation that the ISC Board of Directors might someday choose to give our sport a new name, the ISC has also reserved the address www.iscfastball.com 

"A clear step in the right direction" added Hackmeister. "With the excellent technical work we are receiving from Al Doran, it is a natural to make this kind of change in something so important as the address where people go to the web to find us." 

Doran added he hopes that the many web sites that link their home pages to the ISC will update their web sites with the new information http://www.iscfastpitch.com He said to watch for some new and exciting additions to the home of the ISC.
