AUSTIN, TX., MAY 25 26, 2002

( A CONTINUING SERIES OF ANNOUNCEMENTS OF QUALIFIERS FOR THE FIRST-EVER I.S.C. II TOURNAMENT TO BE HELD IN KITCHENER-WATERLOO, ONTARIO, AUGUST 13 17.)

ATTENTION MEN'S FASTPITCH SOFTBALL TEAMS FROM THE STATES OF TEXAS, LOUISIANA, OKLAHOMA, AND ARKANSAS!!!!!!!!!

When the Castro Concrete Invitational Tournament (which is the ISC Area Tournament for this four-state area) is contested in Austin, Texas, over the weekend of May 25 and 26, a special additional prize will be offered.

That prize will be a spot in the ISC II tournament when that brand new event is contested in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, August 13 17. ISC II is designed for teams typically eligible for NAFA AA or ASA B tournaments. Check the eligibility rules at to make certain your team is eligible.

The Castro Concrete Invitational can be your team's ticket to either the I.S.C. World Tournament or the new ISC II tourney, so hurry and grab a spot in this unique event.

The Texas/Louisiana/Oklahoma/Arkansas ISC Area Tournament, with its companion qualifier for ISC-II, will be held at beautiful Del Valle Softball Complex in Austin. The tournament is open to any team but the ISC berths are limited to teams from TX, LA, OK and AR.

The tournament will use a round robin format on Saturday with a single elimination playoff on Sunday. Entry fee is $200.
