"It'll be the biggest one - - - and we're sure the best one!"
Those are the sentiments of Shawn Ringel who will be in charge of the ISC II qualifying tournament to be held in Owen Sound, Ontario, over the weekend of June 27 June 29.
According to Ringel, all signs point to a mammoth turnout of 32 teams competing in the event for a spot in the second annual ISC II Tournament which will be held in Kimberly, WI. in August.
"With our host committee forecasting such a crowd, we are urging all teams to book hotel accommodations as quickly as possible," Ringel adds, "Use the hotel information in Al Doran's archives." http://escribe.com/sports/alsfastball/m10283.html
The host committee reminds teams that this will be the only opportunity at qualifying for the 2003 ISC - II Tournament which will be available in Ontario.
On that same weekend, the ISC Area Tournament will also be held in Owen Sound with teams in that event battling for a spot in the ISC World Tournament also held in Kimberly, August 8 16.
With the successful launch of ISC II last August in Kitchener-Waterloo, interest in this new international event has skyrocketed in Ontario and throughout the fastball world.
