ISC Announces Hosts for 2026 2027 and 2028
ISC World Tournaments Awarded to Bear Creek and Saskatoon

The International Softball Congress (ISC) is excited to announce that the next three ISC World Tournaments have been awarded to Bear Creek Sports & Entertainment for 2026 and 2028 and to Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association for 2027.
“We are thrilled to have worked with these two tremendous host committees to secure locations for the next three ISC World Tournaments, providing world-class venues for the signature event in men’s fastpitch softball, and to enable teams to budget and plan for the next three years,” says ISC President Chris Santos.
Bear Creek Sports & Entertainment’s new two-diamond complex, the JDT First Energy Veterans Memorial Fields, in Melbourne, ON will be the main facility in 2026 and 2028 with additional games being played in Glencoe at Southwest Middlesex Recreation Complex. Teams and fans will be able to book accommodations in nearby London, St. Thomas or Strathroy.
“We are really looking forward to visiting Bear Creek’s new venue to play our 2026 and 2028 ISC World Tournament,” continued Santos. “We’ve always enjoyed going to new locations to showcase our great game of men’s fastpitch softball.” The 2026 ISC World Tournament had been previously awarded to Kitchener but due to unforeseen circumstances, the host committee has withdrawn.
“We’re excited to welcome the softball world to our brand new facility and to put it front-and-center for teams and fans and to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of the ISC World Tournament,” says Ray Pavey, who will be Tournament Director for Bear Creek Sports & Entertainment. “We’ve built something really special and we will make continuous improvements over the next three years to make these events top notch. We’re very proud to be hosting the tournament on First Nations Land in the Chippewas-of-the-Thames First Nation.”
The 2027 ISC World Tournament will be played at the famous Gordie Howe Sports Complex in Saskatoon, SK. The main diamond will be the iconic Bob Van Impe Stadium, which has proudly hosted more Canadian and World Championships than any other facility, including the memorable 2015 Men’s World Softball Championship. Additional games will be played at Joe Gallagher Field and the Glen Reeve Fields, creating a seamless and enjoyable experience for all players and spectators alike.
“We are thrilled to welcome back the ISC World Tournament to Saskatoon because we believe our city can deliver an unparalleled event experience,” says Bryan Kosteroski, President of Saskatoon Amateur Softball Association (SASA), the 2027 host organization. “Our track record of hosting large-scale tournaments is exceptional and we take great pride in offering hospitality that is second to none.”
“We are grateful for SASA – and their enthusiasm and dedication to our game – to make the commitment to bring the ISC World Tournament back to Saskatoon,” says Santos. The ISC World Tournament was last played in Saskatoon in 1987.
It’s expected that there will be 36 teams competing for the ISC World Championship and the ISC II Championship each year with another 12-16 teams playing in the ISC 50+ Legends division. Additional divisions are under discussion.
The 2026 ISC World Tournament will be played from August 8-15. For more information on the ISC, please visit www.iscfastpitch.com.
