The International Softball Congress is pleased to announce that four players have been nominated to the ISC Hall of Fame for induction at the 2024 ISC World Tournament.

Congratulations to pitchers Brent Stevenson and Rob Schweyer-Scott and players Donny Hale and Jeff Goolagong.

Brent Stevenson was a star for the Decatur ADM teams in the 1980s making ISC All World First Team in 1984 and 1985 and ISC All World Second Team in 1987 with Decatur Pride. He won 12 games in a row at the World Tournament from 1981-1984 and finished with 23 career World Tournament wins. Brent has gone on to star in the Legends division with 20 career wins.

Rob Schweyer-Scott broke onto the ISC scene with Waterloo Twins in 1999 and made the ISC All World Second Team in his rookie year. Rob was named to the ISC All World First Team in 2000, 2001 and 2010. He won two ISC World Tournament Championships, with Broken Bow Travelers in 2001 and with The Farm Tavern in 2007. He has 30 and counting ISC career wins and is still playing with the Fargo Kegel Black Knights.

Jeff Goolagong will be the first Australian player to be inducted into the ISC Hall of Fame. A six-time ISC All-World Team selection – First Team in 2005 with County Materials, 2008 with The Farm Tavern and 2014 with New York Gremlins and Second Team in 2006 with County, 2007 with The Farm and 2015 with the Gremlins – Jeff has three ISC World Championships to his credit, two with County and one with The Farm.

Donny Hale was one of the most revered hitters in men’s fastpitch in the past 25 years. He played in 17 ISC World Tournaments and was All World seven times including five First Team selections in 2000, 2001 with County Concrete, County Classics, 2007 with The Farm Tavern and 2011 and 2012 with Jarvis Travelers. He was Second Team with The Farm Tavern in 2003 and 2004. Donny was named MVP of the 2012 World Tournament, winning the last of his five ISC World Championships and set the RBI record for the World Tournament that year with 17.

The annual ISC Hall of Fame Breakfast and Induction ceremony will be on the first Sunday of the 2024 ISC World Tournament in Surrey, BC, and will also include previous nominees Brad Rona and the late Craig Donaldson.

ISC Canada East is pleased to announce that our 2026 Qualifier will be coming back to Keterson Park in Mitchell, ON on the traditional Father’s Day weekend of June 19-21. Format will be the same as established in 2025, with a Premier Division featuring Hill United Chiefs, Bear Creek Express, NorthEast Drillers, Bear Creek Gremlins, JDT First Energy and Toronto Batmen – all of whom finished in the Elite 8 at last year’s ISC World Tournament. The ISC Division is expected to host 12 teams. Paid berths plus travel money will be payable to the winners of each division. We will also be hosting a 4-team Legends event. Entry fees will be finalized early in 2026. Softball Premier will be on hand once again to provide coverage of what undoubtedly will be one of the top events on the tournament circuit. We want to acknowledge the cooperation of both Bear Creek Sports & Entertainment and Hill United Chiefs in scheduling three top notch events in a tripleheader through June 2026 as we all build toward the 80th Annual ISC World Tournament at JDT First Energy Veterans Memorial Fields in Melbourne, ON in August. We strongly encourage teams to confirm their intent to enter the Qualifier as soon as possible as space will be limited. In addition, we recommend teams look to secure hotel rooms or rental property space early. For additional information, please reach out to Blair, Joe, Scott or AJ.
