Reminder to teams, players about PRAWN status

A reminder to teams and players about PRAWN status as rosters are being finalized for the 2023 season.
The PRAWN list is available on the ISC website on the Rules page under the PRAWN Rule tab.
Teams are permitted five PRAWNs, one of whom may be a pitcher. Certain grandfathering and age-related exceptions apply.
For teams or players that have any questions related to PRAWN status, they should contact the ISC for clarification.

At just 21 (soon 22) years old, Nick White is emerging as one of the most exciting young outfielders on the international fastpitch scene. Wearing jersey #4 for the powerhouse Hill United Chiefs, the Truro, Nova Scotia native is turning heads not just with his speed and glove, but with his all-in team mentality and relentless drive to improve. From Backyard Catch to International Star Nick’s love for fastpitch started young, playing backyard catch with his father and suiting up for Murphys Fish and Chips when his family moved to Nova Scotia in 2010. “Softball was always the sport that came most naturally to me,” Nick explains. “I played just about everything, but softball was the one I always looked forward to.” As a kid, he was inspired by local legends like coach Tim Macumber (who played for the Canadian National Team) and his father, who taught him the fundamentals. As he grew older, big names like Justin Schofield and Bradley Ezekiel became role models—and now, they’re his teammates.
